You may have heard that Burger King claims to have banned 120 artificial ingredients from their restaurants–and they published a “Blacklist” of these banned ingredients on their website. Unfortunately, they are trying to swindle the public.

When I investigated their “blacklist”, this is what I found:
- Burger King blacklisted 24 ingredients that are NOT APPROVED by the FDA. Many of these ingredients haven’t been allowed in American food for decades! For instance, you’ll find Violet 1 on their list, which hasn’t been allowed in our food since 1973.
- Burger King blacklists some ingredients multiple times (using different names) to make their list look longer. Such as Tartrazine and Yellow 5 – which is the same ingredient. You can’t tell me this was an accident.
- The majority of ingredients they blacklisted are NEVER USED by most food companies anyway. I basically read food labels for a living, and have never seen many of them on an ingredient list in my life. That is really saying something.
Burger King doesn’t publish the ingredients in their food on their website. And when you call or write for ingredients, they give you the runaround. How is anyone supposed to verify whether their claims are even true? If they really want to show how “REAL” their food is, they should publish all their ingredients online for everyone to see.

If you can’t see those ingredients too well due to the highlighting, here they are below. Just remember that many of them are stated more than once because of different chemical names. My concern is, what are the dangerous ingredients still left in? They may even be the same ingredients under different names! I’m happy I don’t eat this dangerous crap! My advice to you is that you don’t either!
For years, food corporations were able to fill their products with toxic ingredients, and the public was none the wiser. Now that more of us are reading ingredient lists and learning the truth, they are being forced to take things to a new level.
Once you learn the truth about your food, it’s harder for these BIG FOOD corporations to swindle you.
That’s why they are getting more sneaky in how they lie to us.
We need to stay on top of their tricks, because it is ever evolving.
They are hiding ingredients under different names…
They are making it harder for you to access their actual ingredient lists…
They are lying to the media about what’s really in their food…
These companies think Americans are stupid, but more people are waking up to their lies every day.
